Fun Pictures of the Kids

Ok, so really these are mostly of Jonli with a few of the boys mixed in.

Jonli decided to become much more mobil recently, she loves to scoot around on here belly.

Outside on one of our many walks, she loves to be outdoors and calms down almost immediately if she is fussy as soon as we get outside. It sure is nice that she enjoys it!
Jonev loves his little sister so much and can get her to giggle like no one else. Although this picture doesn't show it, it's a little hard to capture it on the camera.

Bobcat, Birthday, Thanksgiving, Baptism...JONGR

The night he received his first cubscout award, he is now a Bobcat! Pack meeting in November.
Good Morning Birthday boy.
Blessed to enjoy his birthday celebration with so many of our loved ones and some chocolate on chocolate cake of course!

Baptism!

Oh my what a week! It has been a whirlwind of fun and enjoyment. Thanks so much for all of the support from our family! We love you all and are thankful to have each of you in our lives. I wish that we would have had more time to enjoy our visitors, it seems that we were always moving on to the next event and trying to fit in all of the fun and visiting that we could.

Jontu's Birthday!

Jontu started his big day off with his favorite cereal.
Then he got to open his first present of the day. He loved putting together his Lego ship, we worked on it a little bit at a time and finally finished it with dad after birthday dinner.
Birthday dinner was Hamburgers with cheese and peas on the side. Then for the cake he requested Tres Leche with sprinkles of course. He couldn't decide on a theme for his cake this year so he got out all of his favorite little toys to put on the cake (they took a bath before).
Here's a picture of his Lego ship completed! He was so excited and it was a fun day. It's amazing how he is growing up. He is so much fun to have in our family.

It was nice to be able to drive this part of the country again and see all of the old familiar sights and enjoy the beauty of the desert.

Summer Vacation - Utah

We were able to have a short stopover in Provo/Salt Lake to visit with Uncle Brian and Aunt Kelli. While we were in the area we took the Jedi's down to tour a little bit of Temple Square. It was great to see some of the sights there again. It sure has made it fun for them to now say that they have been to some of these places, it made watching General Conference a little more interesting this time. Thanks Brian and Kelli for being game for a little drive to SLC with us!

Summer Vacation - Idaho

Our short time in Idaho was full of fun! Thanks to all of our family for making it a good time.
Jonli and Grandma getting reaquainted.
less than 5 minutes out of the car the Jedi's were able to do one of their favorite things at Grandpa and Grandma's house.

Jonli and her cousin who is 6 weeks older.
A mountain goat that the boys saw on their hike with Grandpa, David, and Richard while we were camping.
A group photo taken my Aunt Jessica on the hike.
Jonev getting stitches from a fall that he took while we were camping on Saturday. He was so brave and sat still while they stitched up his chin. Jonpa held his hands and helped him be calm.
Before they cleaned up, but after the stitches were in.
Getting a bandaid over the stitches, the bandaid on his forehead was from a previous accident on Friday while we were on our hike. Grandpa starting calling him nosedive because he was falling so much. His little legs and body couldn't always keep up with each other, not to mention all of the rocks and tree roots sticking out of the ground.

eating creamies! YUM!
The family playing games on Sunday afternoon.
Uncle David and jonev playing at a park that I used to play in.
saying goodbye to Uncle Daniel.

Summer Vacation - Colorado

We had so much fun on vacation this summer, it has taken us a while to get things all back together though. Here are some of the highlights from the CO part of our vacation. A little out of order.
Enjoying the splash park with the cousins! The cups made it extra fun, thanks Auntie Shanna!
All of the cousins together and looking mostly in the same direction, it was hard to say good-bye.
Getting ready for smores and fun in the backyard, what a great place to hang out.
The little Jedi's enjoying the playground.
Getting to see my cousin Tiffany and her little ones (who aren't so little anymore).
The Denver Colorado Temple.
Trying to take a picture of all of the kids, they are all in the picture. It was a nice warm summer day with beautiful blue skies.

Bubblegum

Jonev has now mastered the skill of chewing his bubblegum instead of eating it. It surprises me how long he can chew it, sometimes I think that he has swallowed it only to find out that he still has it. It helps that big brother Jontu LOVES BUBBLEGUM, and Jonev wants to be just like him. He has at least one piece everyday. Don't worry, it is the sugar free stuff. Right now the flavor of choice is Trident tropical flavor of some kind, it smells delicious, but I'll stick with my mint flavor.

Celebrating Daddy style (another summer catch up)

One of the ways that we celebrated was by having fruit pizza...mmm.
Jonpa finally got his blue lightsaber, the other Jedi's were happy to have some birthday saber battles.
A package from mom with lots of love.
A new sign and a different kind of cake this year. The little Jedi's and I made this fun birthday banner this summer, we painted the individual letters and then hung them on ribbon. Jonpa requested a cinnamon roll birthday cake this year, I went a little over the top for him. I love how it turned out. We love our daddy!
