Our First Cub Scout Activity

Since Jongr will be joining the scouting ranks this fall we were invited to participate in our troops Blue and Gold banquet. All of the father's and sons were supposed to make cakes, this is what Jonpa and Jongr came up with. So fun and cute! Everyone wanted to eat some of the rice krispie track of course.

A few Birthday pictures

We started my birthday off, by visiting Paul at his office and going to lunch at one of our favorite little places that Edwin and Jennifer introduced us to before they left Houston. We love Muffaletta's!
My very own Chef's hat courtesy of one of Paul's co-workers. Thank you! I had forgotten how much I enjoy wearing them to keep the hair out of my face when I cook. I used to wear one all of the time at one of the bakeries where I worked.
Little Jonev was trying to help dad do some work. I loved this picture and had to post it!
A picture of me and my boys, with the cake and flowers that I got for my birthday! It really was a great day, I love my family!

The internet just got a little better looking

A photographer friend with some mad skills has taken many photos of our young Jedi's. Well, his site is now better than ever and Jonev is even featured on the site. Check out our tribute video to the new and improved Ironwood Photography.

Visiting Dad

The young Jedi's have recently discovered the joy of visiting dad at his office. They even get temporary badges similar to dad's. What fun! Dad even has a view and some star wars guys to play with when we go.

An update...

A few things that have been going on at our house in the past couple of months:
Ok, so I know that Christmas hasn't been "recent", but I thought that I would post it since I didn't post any pics of Christmas yet. Here is the annual picture of the family on Christmas Eve in front of the tree.
We also took advantage of Christmas Break and went to the Space Center here in Houston, it was quite fun! We really enjoyed seeing all of the space artifacts and climbing in some of the old training shuttles and space labs.
This was the first day back to school in January. Jongr and Jontu and their friend Blaar, had so much fun playing in the leaves outside of the little park by our house. It isn't everywhere that you can play in the leaves in January. Jonev wasn't sure what to think of all of the leaves, he didn't want to get in them.
Jongr recently celebrated 100 days of school the first part of February. For his homework he had to make a 100 day poster, this is his finished product. Each of the kids had a different interpretation, it was really neat to see how creative some of them were.

We have been having lots of fun and getting more and more excited for baby sister to arrive in a few short months. It seems like time has been flying by, we have lived in Texas for 2 years now and will be adding our second Texas baby to the family soon.
