Annual Easter Celebration

This year our Easter festivities started out with a surprise package from Grandma Jones on Friday.  It was full of Easter goodness, thank you so much Grandma.  We love you!
Then of course fun Easter basket stuff on Saturday morning, this frees up our baskets for the egg hunt.
Right before lunch we got another surprise package in the mail from Aunt Jennifer.  Thank you!  We loved the spud guy too! The boys had so much fun pulling out everything inside and Jongr claimed some of the pictures of Jesus as his own right away.

Joining us for our Saturday Easter Celebration were our Stucki and Cowley cousins and the Dattilo family(who are really like Jones cousins) We had lunch and an egg hunt of course!  The boys had so much fun and everyone got SO many eggs.  We put out the empty lawnmower box in the backyard and the kids all had so much fun playing in it. At the end they wanted to decorate it too, so we got out the crayons and markers and let them have fun.  I think that almost all of them made some kind of artwork on it.  They started to get a little creative with it and opened up the other end then propped the box up with a chair on either side so that they could color every inch of it.  Amber and Matt provided some delicious strawberries and "prize" eggs for the kids.  Tucker was sad because he didn't get a prize egg and so Amber couldn't take it anymore and gave him a "secret" prize that made his day!  Thanks so much!

Melinda made some yummy rolls and Brandon took some cool pictures, I can't wait to see all of them.  Amberly and Wilbur made some yummy spinach salad and brought the confetti eggs that are so much fun.  I think that everyone had confetti in their hair when they left.  The kids had lots of fun smashing the eggs on everyone. It was so nice to be able to visit with some of our family and to enjoy the fun together.
Have a HAPPY EASTER Everyone!

What an awesome day!
I was sad last night because I kind of have gotten out of the habit of doing the little fun things with the kids now that so many of them are older. Poor Matthew is missing out! I felt like a terrible mom last night :(
